Shilpi Gupta launched her label, Surkhab in April. The name is as Indian as are her bespoke creations which took inspiration from her travels through Rajasthan. Shilpi delved into the desert, picking up signature elements and the bright colours worn by the women of Rajasthan—queens and commoners alike.

 Her designs reflect her free spirit!

Emphasizing on global quality, luxury and wear ability, signature elements like temple pichhwais, architecture, glass inlay, traditional costumes, the peacock and lotus motif, often find their way into the Shilpi’s well entrenched and vibrant desert culture inspired designs.

Incorporating traditional forms with modern sensibilities to create ccontemporary garments

Shilpi’s aim is to introduce regal grandeur into haute couture, with lots of creativity and innovative silhouettes.
